Future Stars at BC Place

​Future Stars is a one-of-a-kind soccer event at BC place which gives players from all over the lower mainland the opportunity to play on the famous Vancouver turf and follow in the footsteps of their national team, and Whitecaps, heroes.

​

We will host a full day 5 vs 5 (4v4 plus GK) non-competitive tournament which has space for nearly 1000 players over 96 teams. All clubs, teams and individuals ages U8 to U13 (2018 - 2013) are welcome to register.

Our 2025 Tournament Details are as follows:

1:00pm-7:00pm*

BC Place Stadium 

Teams born 2018-2013

Each player receives a participation medal

$395 per team or $50 per individual player

​

*Younger teams will be given preference for earlier game times.

​

We hope you can join us with cheering parents, coaches and teammates to create an electrifying atmosphere that promotes the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and learning together.

Tournament Information:

​

MATCHES:

  • Played in accordance with FIFA laws of the game. If your official is not on the field at the start time of the game then please come to the front desk.

  • Each team will play 3 games.

  • All games will be 25 minutes with no half time break.

  • Teams will be split by age group and gender.

  • The game schedule will be released one week before the event.

  • All games must start exactly on time to maintain the tournament schedule. Failure to start the game on time may require the game length to be reduced accordingly. Please leave ample time to get to your game field.

  • Each team can have a total of 10 players on their roster with rosters to be finalized by March 31st.

 

GAME FORMAT:

  • All games are 4vs4 (plus. GK) with unlimited substitutions.

  • All games will use the Retreat Line at halfway on goal kicks.

  • Kick-ins will be used to restart play in the event the ball goes out of the field.

  • There will be a short amount of warm-up time on the field before each game. You are welcome to use the areas around the field to warm up prior to this.
