SUMMER ACADEMY JERICHO
2025 Summer Academy Season

The Academy is the heart of our club, providing professional, age-appropriate soccer coaching to youth aged 5 to 12 years old. We welcome all new and experienced soccer players into the academy.
​
We strive to create team environments in which every player can be successful. Players will be placed into a team with others of similar age and ability.
​
We are proud to offer gender specific teams as well as co-ed teams.
​
Your child's enrolment in the VRFC Academy will include:
1) Two training sessions per week
Our team training will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Jericho Turf.
Tuesday evening classes will focus on foundational skill acquisition. Each player will have a ball at their feet for the majority of the session to maximize their development and confidence.
Our Thursday sessions will comprise of non-competitive games in which we will play VRFC teams against one another to put our learnings into practice.

2) Top quality coaching from a certified team
To ensure our players are receiving quality training, our team of energetic and experienced coaches hold recognized coaching certifications. They are experienced in coaching children aged 2-19 all over the world, including the UK, China, USA, and Canada.
Your player will stay with the same coaching team through the season so they can bond with their coach and form authentic connections with their teammates.
3) Exceptional learning opportunities
VRFC players will have the chance to play against other teams in the lower mainland via exhibition matches and tournaments.
Players can also sign up for additional training through our small group sessions.

We also host community events throughout the year to allow our players to be apart of something bigger including our tournament at BC Place.
Training Schedule & Location
The Summer season will run from July 3rd to August 21st for a total of 15 training sessions.
We will train at Jericho Field Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00pm OR 6:00-7:00pm
Training Times
​
At our Jericho location, sessions will run from 5.00-6.00pm OR 6:00-7:00pm with players being split by age and gender. We will do our best to accommodate time requests but will assign the training times to give players the best learning environment.

Club Kit
​
All new players are recommended to purchase an official Vancouver Rangers Kit. The cost is $125.00 and this can be purchased here. This is not compulsory for Summer season but is required for Fall/Winter.
​
Club Fees
​
The Academy fee for the Summer season is $295. This fee covers all 15 sessions from July-August.
